My fics

So, it’s come to my attention that, as a writer (although I’m very humble about that, I’m no Shakespeare), I ought to share what I’ve written with you all.

In case someone is ever interested in what I come up with, here are some of my most recent babies.

Also, I should warn you: while I love writing canon characters as well, I’m mostly known for including OCs in my fandoms. It’s what I’m good at. ;)

Ever wanted to read a fic about these two meeting and getting together?

No? I can’t imagine anyone else has either 🤣

But alas, I wrote a fic about them.

Not from around here, but it sure does feel like home

Summary:

Mav’s taking his first proper holiday post mission, and winds up in England. In a pub in Richmond on a bar stool sipping a beer. He’s soon joined by one Ted Lasso, and he’s unlike anyone he’s ever met.

Ted thinks the same about Mav.

Hopefully someone other than me might read and enjoy it 🩵🩷

Girl, what the actual fuck. XD

Only you could create such crack ships and make me think ‘yeah, makes sense’. XD

(Also, I’d give you: Bradley and Jamie; Jake and Roy; Phe and Keeley.)

I just started watching 911

To be honest, I started watching it because Tumblr and my mutuals kept showing me these two dumbasses called Buck and Eddie (or Buddie) and I wanted to see them ‘in action’ to understand the ship.

Regardless of that, I’ve just binged the whole first season and WAS I SUPPOSED TO REALISE HOW GOOD THAT SHOW IS????

On to season two, and Buddie.

(Also, throughout season one, it goes without saying that Buck is totally MY TYPE)

kinda idle curiosity thought.

queer artists/writers/oc creators: do you incorporate queerphobia into your original works and stories?

how do you feel about queerphobia in your work?

i incorporate it as a reflection of my own experience

i don’t incorporate it because i prefer some escapism in fiction

i incorporate it because i think it’s unrealistic not to

i don’t incorporate it because i’d prefer to write a better world

i incorporate it so i can have the catharsis of characters overcoming it

i don’t incorporate it for another reason (please explain)

i incorporate it for another reason (please explain)

it’s more complicated than that (please explain)

See Results

(to be clear: this is a *no judgment zone*. i’m asking about your personal preferences with your own work. also i can’t stop non-queer folks from responding but i would genuinely love some other queer folks’ perspectives here.)

Sometimes I incorporate it because it’d be too unrealistic not to.

Sometimes, I don’t, because the work I’m writing is fantasy so in that world, queerphobia doesn’t exist (and ain’t that great?).

Sometimes I simply mention it but it doesn’t happen during the timeframe of my work.
